Sammy Dale Robertson

Sammy Dale Robertson, of Jessieville, Arkansas, passed away at his home on December 12, 2025. He was born on March 11, 1969, in Hot Springs, Arkansas, to the late David Elgene and Wanda Dale Robertson. He is survived by his cherished daughter, Samantha Grace Robertson; his fiancée, Melissa Neeley, whom he loved dearly and who never left his side; and his beloved dog, Boomer. Additional survivors include his sister, Tonya (Travis) Speers; nephews Hunter Speers and Dakota Morgan; his niece, Ashton Street; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Sammy had a heart of gold and never met a stranger. He was known for his kindness and generosity, always giving more than he ever asked in return. His warmth drew people to him, with his Christian faith quietly shaping his life. He loved telling stories and making jokes, and had a laugh that made others laugh right along with him. Growing up, Sammy played football, basketball, baseball, and softball. He continued playing softball well into adulthood, and it remained his favorite sport. He graduated from Jessieville High School in 1987 and worked for the Hot Springs Village POA for over 34 years. Dogs were always a central part of Sammy’s life, and his love for hounds ran deep. He began fox hunting at a young age, which became one of his greatest passions. Sharing fox hunting and his love of dogs with his daughter, Samantha, was especially meaningful to Sammy, and many of his favorite memories were made with her by his side. Sammy also loved to deer hunt, but some of his favorite moments were spent simply listening to the dogs run. He found peace, listening to the hounds run. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Randy Womack, Uncle Glen, Uncle Randy, and Travis for taking care of Boomer while Sammy was in the hospital. Pallbearers are Matt Merideth, Loren Wilson, Dewayne Wilson, Brian Weaver, Hunter Speers, Steve McEarl, Jeff McEarl, Ryan McEarl, Sam McEarl and Miles Lowery.
