Brenda Kay Robnett

Brenda Kay Robnett of Hot Springs earned her angel wings on Friday, February 17, 2017. She was born November 7, 1948 in Dewitt, AR to Emmett Harris and Nancy (Hynum) Harris, both parents deceased. She is survived her loving husband of 53 years, James L. Robnett, 3 children: Deborah Strawn (Gary) of Des Arc, Susan Beckwith (Todd) of Lonsdale, Eddie Robnett (Dawn) of Burkburnet, TX. Grandchildren: Jeremy Strawn (AnneMarie) of Des Arc, Amanda Buck (Joel) of Cabot, Marissa Beckwith and Miranda Beckwith both of Lonsdale, Angelic Nevill (Paul) of Hutto, TX, Brandon Robnett of Hot Springs, Audriana Stebbins (Jacob), CJ Evans III, Christina Brady-Robnett all of Burkburnett, TX. and Rylee Clement of Hot Springs. Great-Grandchildren are Gabriel Strawn, Gavin Strawn, AJ Strawn, Oliver Nevill and Sutton Michelle Buck. Extended family members include Tina and Darrel Clement of Hot Springs and Marlena Sanchez of Twentynine Palms, CA. Surviving siblings include a sister, Mary Louise Poll (Eddie), and a brother, Robert Wayne (Bubber) Harris (Carolyn) and Uncle Emmett "Bud" Hynum. Deceased siblings are brother James Elliott Harris (Arlene) and sister Clara Jane Reynolds. Besides loving her fur baby Abby; she loved her grandchildren passionately. She also loved quilting with the Garland County EHC Crazy Quilters. Her other passion was Nursing. She graduated with her nursing degree from Quapaw Technical Institute in 1992. The majority of her nursing career was served at St. Joseph's Hopital in Hot Springs until she officially retired in 2006. In 2003 Brenda was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer from which she survived. She was a true miracle and inspiration to many. Brenda had a zest for life and it showed in everything she did. She touched many lives and will be greatly missed by more than she will ever know. Services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at Hot Springs Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor J.D. Courtney officiating. Visitation will be 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. on Monday. Burial at Morning Star Cemetery Pall bearers are Eddie Robnett, Gary Strawn, Jeremy Strawn, Joel Buck, Todd Beckwth, Ken Harris, Jacob Stebbins, and Paul Nevill. Honorary pall bearers include Brandon Robnett, Dr. Tim English, Dr. Patrick Dolan, Dr. John Brandt, Dr. Prabhakara Reddy, Dr. Neeraj Bharany, and Dr. J. Carmilo Barreto.
