Tom Elliott, 73, of Hot Springs and formerly of Forrest City was promoted to be with his Heavenly Father on Thursday, June 4, 2020. He was a graduate of Forrest City High School, East Texas Baptist College and Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He pastored in Arkansas, Texas, Missouri and Indiana for forty plus years until he retired. He was predeceased by his father, Cecil Elliott, his mother, Florence Elliott and his youngest brother, Terry Elliott. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Linda Phillips Elliott of Hot Springs; two daughters, Barb Tipton (Mitch) of Hot Springs, and Vickie Sutton (Gerald, Jr.) of Harrisburg, AR; one brother, Larry Elliott (Ronda) of Bella Vista, AR; one sister, Judy Wesner (Emmit) of Olatha, KN; one sister-in-law, Lillian Elliott of Tyler, TX; eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Hot Springs Funeral Home. Graveside services will be Monday at 2:00 PM at Forrest Park Cemetery in Forrest City, AR with Pastors Coy Sample, Chris Powers, and James Watkins officiating. Pallbearers will be Gerald Sutton, Jr., Mitch Tipton, William Loveless, Dylan Sanders, Brandon Williams, Leigh Cross and Brad Coffman.
