Rebecca (Becky) Ann Siler, loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away November 2, 2019 surrounded by family at home. Becky was born on March 15, 1942 in Siler City, North Carolina where she met Larry, her wonderful husband of 51 years. As a homemaker, she lovingly cared for her family as they moved from North Carolina, to Atlanta, Georgia, to Houston, Texas, to Trophy Club, Texas, and finally to Hot Springs Village, Arkansas in 1999. Becky spent her life devoted to her family and friends, graciously serving all the communities in which she lived. She was an all-around gifted athlete and competitor, starting as an All-State basketball player in high school in North Carolina which transitioned into a lifetime of amateur level golf achievements among other sports and hobbies. In between her many rounds of golf and social gatherings, she volunteered with the Woman’s Golf Association Big Sisters/Little Sisters, the annual WGA Crush Cancer fundraiser golf tournament, and numerous church committees. Becky was a woman of great character who never met a stranger. She made a positive impact on many lives and was loved by all who came to know her. She will be greatly missed by her family and many circles of friends. Becky is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Larry Siler, parents, Margaret and Albert Stone, William and Myra Brady, and brother Bill Brady. Becky is survived by her son Richard Siler and wife Shannon of Union Valley, Texas; daughter, Lynn Olson and husband Brian of Houston, Texas; five grandchildren, Megan Olson of Austin, Texas, Lauren Siler of Dallas, Texas, Brandon Siler, Brooke Siler, and Peyton Siler of Union Valley, Texas. She is also survived by siblings James Brady, Michael Brady, and Karen Purcell of North Carolina; also numerous nieces and nephews, as well as an incredible number of dear friends. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, November 9th at Christ of the Hills Methodist Church, 700 Balearic Rd, Hot Springs Village, AR 71909, with a reception immediately following in the Fellowship Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Becky Siler to CHI St. Vincent Foundation in support of Crush Cancer, 2 St. Vincent Circle, Little Rock, AR 72205.
