Jessie Pearl Blocker, 91, of Hot Springs passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2020. She was born September 29, 1928 in Hughes, Arkansas to the late Richard & Anna Stachey Humphreys. She was predeceased by her parents; husband Wras Blocker; son, Douglas Blocker; sister, Anita Waggoner; brothers, Ralph Humphreys, Leo Humphreys, Richard Humphreys, Billy Max Humphreys, Mervin Humphreys and Rudolph Humphreys. Survivors include her daughters, Jean Blocker, Stacie Blocker (Mike) Love; grandchildren, Andrew (Ana) Love; Sebastian Love; special friend/caregiver Vicky Love; many nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family would like to thank Dr. Christine Lai, Dr. Oyidie Igbokidi, Dr. Harneet Pahwa, the employees and staff of CHI St. Vincent, Encompass Rehab, Lake Hamilton Rehab, and Arkansas Hospice. Services will be held 12:00 PM Tuesday, June 30th at Hot Springs Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jonathan Beyer officiating. Burial to follow at Reed Cemetery, Story, Arkansas. Pallbearers are De’Andre Dawson, Darrell Ellis, Kevin Hoffman, Bo Snider, Joey Swindle, McCoy Vereen, and Ricky Waggoner. Honorary Pallbearers include Annette Hoffman, Shundolyn Jetton, Vicky Love, and Tommie Rico. Visitation will be 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM Monday at the funeral home.
