Franklin Fearing Wing III

Franklin Fearing Wing III, 77, of Hot Springs (formerly of Malvern) passed away Sunday December 10, 2017. He was born October 16, 1940 to the late Neva Eva Gonzalez Wing and Franklin Fearing Wing Jr. in Fort Riley, Kansas. Franklin served two tours in Vietnam with the United States Army earning the rank of Major and he received a Silver Star with Valor and two Bronze Stars Survivors include his children, John Wing and Lanie (Corky) Martin; four grandchildren, Tristen Gaulden, Nicholas Gaulden, John Matthew Wing and Joseph Wing; and several great grandchildren. He will be interred in the Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia with his parents.
