Darren Bain

Darren C. Bain, born on July 31, 1965. He was a lifelong resident of Hot Springs, AR. Darren went home to be with the Lord on August 5, 2019, at the age of 54 years old. He faithfully served as an Arkansas State Constable for Bain Township and had other various careers. He owned Cornerstone Investigations, was a Radio Personality for KBHS and US 97.5, but most importantly he got his start professionally in music with the Music Mountain Jamboree. He was an extremely accomplished guitar and piano player and with his God given talents rubbed elbows with many well-known artists. Darren never once met a stranger nor made anyone feel less of a friend by welcoming them with a smile and a joke. He was fashionably late but also the light of the room. He was preceded in death by his father, Claud Bain, his grandparents, Rev. George & Nora Riley and James & Ida Bain. He is survived by his loving mother Lavern Bain, sister, Leenita (Stanley) Carpenter, one nephew, Nathan (Laurie) Carpenter, two great nieces, Ashlyn & Hadley Carpenter, and one great nephew, Jonathan Joiner. He also leaves behind his beloved cousin and life-long friend Bo Garret as well as many relatives and friends. Visitation will be from 5-7pm on Friday August 9th at Hot Springs Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10am on Saturday August 10th at Hot Springs Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating the service will be Rev. Van Glidewell, Rev. Michael Smith, and Rev. Gary Garrett. Pall Bearers will be Bo Garrett, Clayton Laird, Dennis Ward, Doug Garrett, Lonnie Womack, Nathan Carpenter and Greg Laird. Burial will be at Walnut Grove Cemetery
