Corrina Soris

Corrina Soris, 76, of Hot Springs passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2015. She was born on June 19, 1939 in Newport, Arkansas to the late Roy Lee and Mildred Massey. She was a member of the Grace Bible Church, a lifetime member of the auxiliary of the VFW Post 2278 and she retired after 32 years of service as a baker for Colonial Bakery. She was predeceased by her parents, one son, Melvin Dale Conner, granddaughter, Angela Conner and one brother-in-law, Willard Johnson. Survivors include her husband, Ed Soris of Hot Springs, two daughters, Lisa Keeney of Ypsilante, Michigan, and Dena Conner, eight grandchildren, Justen, Jason, Jeremey Keeney and Marcus (Candace), Liam, Perry and Kian Conner, and Emma Conner one great grandchild, Katlyn Conner, one sister, Betty Johnson of Bradford, AR and three nieces, Pam Rainwater, Janie Agee and Kay Lewis. , . Visitation will be Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until service time at 11:00 A.M. Memorial services will be Thursday at 11:00 A.M. in the Hot Springs Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mark Goad officiating. Honorary pallbearers are the nurses and staff of the Village Springs Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and the nurses and Chaplain of Dierksen Hospice. After cremation, her cremains will be buried at the State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock, AR. Memorials have been designated to Grace Bible Church or Dierksen Hospice.
