Clarence “Scoots” Libeer, 84, of Hot Springs Village passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2016. He was born on August 30, 1932 in North Kansas City, Missouri to the late Victor and Mary Libeer. He was retired from Ford Motor Company as a quality control inspector. Scoots played baseball in the farm league in Kansas City and played softball in the Senior League in Hot Springs. Survivors include his wife, Joan Libeer of Hot Springs Village, one son, Matt Libeer of Kansas City, Missouri, five daughters, Gina Libeer and Rachel Sanders, both of Kansas City, Missouri, Edith Lynn Maley, Tina Maley and Erica Maley, all of Hot Springs Village, one brother, Gary Libeer of Kansas City, Missouri, numerous grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be at a later date.
