Candy Lewis

March 30, 1952 - February 25, 2016

P. T. “Candy” Lewis Candy Lewis was born in Chicago, but her parents, Russell and Josephine Crisara soon moved to Santa Cruz, California, which Candy always considered “home”. She graduated from Santa Cruz High School and continued on to beautician school. She was a beautician in the JC Penney styling salon in Hot Springs for over 25 years, and had many loyal clients who would not see anyone else. Her sunny disposition and unique sense of personal style endeared her to anyone she came into contact with. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, John M. Lewis and her son, Mark Ryan Lewis, both of Hot Springs; and by her brother, Joe Crisara of Santa Cruz, CA; and her nephews Connor Lewis and Jonathan Crisara. She was predeceased by her parents, Russell and Josephine Crisara. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 2nd from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at Hot Springs Funeral Home. All are welcome. Arrangements in California will be by Benito & Azzaro Pacific Gardens Chapel in Santa Cruz, CA on March 7th. She will be interred at Holy Cross Cemetery in Santa Cruz, CA.
