Bernice Phillips

Bernice Marie Phillips, 81, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on December 21, 2015. She was born on January 15, 1934 in Pine Valley, OK. Survivors include 2 children, Loretta Phillips Brunson (Les) of Sherwood, AR and Perry Joe Phillips of Malvern, AR. 4 grandchildren, Melissa Hecke (Scott), Marcia Garner (Shawn), Megan Lindsey (Jamie) and Jonathan Phillips. 11 great-grandchildren, Lauren Black, Zachary Black (Jodie), Keily Hecke, Gaige Burgett, Brock Garner, Bryce McDaniel, Brylinn Lindsey, Dallas Hecke, Houston Hecke, Charlee Flaherty and Brekyn Lindsey all of Hot Springs, AR and 1 sister, Margaret Phillips of Bismarck, AR along with several nieces, nephews and friends too numerous to mention. Bernice is predeceased by her parents, Leonard Nelson and Marie Murders, her partner Buddy Wilson, her brother, Harvey Nelson, her sister, Laura Phillips and the father of her children, Joe Phillips. An open house memorial will be held at the home of Mr. Jamie and Megan Lindsey on December 27th 2015 from 2pm – 5pm at 616 Old Bear Road, Royal, AR.
