Barbara Barnes

April 8, 1951 - April 20, 2022

Barbara Barnes, 71, of Hot Springs went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, April 20, 2022. She was born on April 8, 1951 in San Francisco, California to the late Floyd and Faye McWilliams. She was a very active member of Legacy Church, a member of the National Park Corvette Club and the Hot Springs Cruisers Club and was the treasurer of both car clubs. Barbara was a faithful Christian and loved her Jesus with her whole heart and loved her church family as her own especially the children of the church. She was predeceased by her father, Floyd McWilliams, her beloved mother, Faye Welch and her brother, David Welch. Survivors include her loving husband of 36 years, Bob Barnes of Hot Springs, one son, Brian Betts (Brittney) of San Antonio, Texas, one daughter, Tiffany (Stephen) Bell of Shreveport, Louisiana, five grandchildren, who she just adored, Charlie, Kate, Samantha, Deuce and Flynn, and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. until service time at 11:00 A.M. Celebration of Barbara’s Life will be Tuesday at 11:00 A.M. at Legacy Church with Reverend Larry Burton officiating. Pallbearers are Nathan Cobb, Chase Morris, John Newman, Jordan White, Mark Vullette and Gary Nelson. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the National Park Corvette Club, the Hot Springs Cruisers Car Club, members of Legacy Church and the members of the Vietnam Veterans Organization of Hot Springs, Chapter 1.
