Allen Cleveland, 55, of North Little Rock, Arkansas, formerly of Hot Springs, passed away Sunday, May 21, 2017 at his home. He was born November 5, 1961 to Michael & Sharon Rose Groven Cleveland in Shelby, Montana. Allen was very athletic and loved sports. He was very talented in basketball, football and tennis, where he played for Conrad High school for 4 years. After graduating Conrad High School in 1980, He attended and majored in Art Design at the Colorado Institute of Art in 1984. Allen was a veritable renaissance man, masterfully accomplishing any task placed before him. With an eye for design, he was an accomplished graphic artist. He loved the Friday night lights, always cheering on (or coaching from the couch) his favorite football teams, especially the Razorbacks and Steelers. Of all his talents and affections, Allen was above all devoted to serving the Lord, his wife, and his family. His true joy was being “Poppy” to his grandchildren, Harper and Malcolm. Allen was a Design-Advertising Manager with PatientPoint. He is preceded in death by his parents; two nephews, Clayton Clenney and Hayden (Bud) Barron; and one niece, Jordan Barron. Left to cherish his memory is his wife who he was blessed to share over sixteen years with, Michelle Trimue Cleveland; daughters, Cassie Cleveland and Chelsea Rose Cleveland; stepsons, Justin Kopp, Brandon (Rachel) Kopp, and Spencer (Jessie) Kopp; sister, Chrystal Cleveland (Boyd) Ford; grandchildren, Harper and Malcolm Kopp; mother-in-law and father-in-law, James & Carolyn Thompson; uncle, Pat Cleveland; sisters-in-law, Rhonda (Jerry) Clenney, Becky (Bryan) Bailey and Ann Loy (Jeff Laisure); one brother-in-law, Robert Trimue; nephews, Brandon, Jason, Lee, Nathan, Stephen, Jacob, Michael and Jake; nieces, Brittany, Bree, Gracie, Ava, Elizabeth, Kendall (Zac) and their baby, Jaxon; and extended family, and anyone on the receiving end of one of his hugs. Pallbearers are Cameron Arnold, Danny Heitman, Tony Wilson, Donnie Campbell, Neil Furqueron and Michael Warren. Honorary pallbearers are the staff of PatientPoint. A celebration of his life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at Mt. Tabor Community Church with Pastor Paul Thompson officiating. Visitation will be 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday at Hot Springs Funeral Home, 1017 Central Ave. Hot Springs, AR 71901.
