Nancy M. Ennis

Nancy M. Ennis, a loving and devoted mother and friend to many, went to meet her Heavenly Father on Monday, March 31, 2025. She was born on January 27, 1939, in Hot Springs, Arkansas. She was a member of Central Baptist Church. Nancy graduated from Mt. Ida High School where she made many lifelong friends. In 1958 she married the love of her life Leroy Ennis. She had a wonderful, long career with St. Joseph's Hospital, which later became St. Joseph's Mercy Medical Center and eventually CHI St. Vincent's Hot Springs. After 55 years of service, Nancy retired in 2022 at the age of 83. Her remarkable personality and ease of communication made her a favorite of Physicians she worked with. Her name was well known in every medical record community and Physician world. To many she was known as "Mrs. Medical Records." Nancy held great pride in her years of work. She was a fun loving, very giving woman and was deeply loved by many. Her personality was magnetic, and she never met a stranger. She was predeceased by her husband, Leroy Ennis; her parents Henry Williams, Ena Williams Whittington and Stahl Whittington; brother Stanley Williams. Survivors include her devoted and "pride of her life" daughter Vicki Ennis Adcock of Hot Springs, bonus daughter Regina (Gary) Egleston and Cyndi (Steve) Hankins; step grandchildren, Ryan (Amber) Adcock & children, Shane Adcock & children; special cousins Edna Ruth (Gene) Mayberry and Teny (Jim) Gibbs; brother-in-law Gene (Sharon) Ennis, special nephews Eddie (Andrea) Williams, Bart (Karen) Williams; niece Shelley (Philip) Ruth; bonus grandchildren, Kyle Pennington & family, Angie Hankins, Chase, Courtney, Whitley &Axton Egleston, Ira, Brittney Mayberry & family, Matt, Katie, Charli, Josie and Hattie Clark, Daniel, Meranda, Bella, Zoey & Sammy Rogers, Marcus, Macie, Hazelee & Quinlee Rogers; numerous Stanley and Williams cousins; special friends in her life Jimmy &Yvonne Rogers, Jim and Pat DeBruler, Mary Stryjewski and Shelby Jester, Cathy Shelton, Shana Coffman, Regina McClure and her numerous CHI work friends and family. Nancy will be greatly missed by the many lives she touched, but especially her daughter, Vicki. No amount of time would have been long enough, but her work here on earth was done. Special thanks to AR Hospice Hot Springs, AR Hospice St. Vincent's Little Rock, Fred Divers & staff of Genesis Cancer Center and Dr. John Webb & staff. A celebration of her life and her legacy will be announced later. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the "Forever Red" fund at Countryside Animal Hospital or to the American Cancer Association.
