Jennifer Burnell-Konieczka

Jennifer Irene Burnell Konieczka, age 28, of Hot Springs, AR went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, September 8, 2014, after being involved in an automobile accident near Bismarck, AR. Jennifer was a student at Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in teaching after receiving an Associate of Arts degree from NPCC in Hot Springs in May 2014. She graduated from Lewis County High School in Vanceburg, KY in May 2005 where throughout her school career she was involved with the JROTC. Jennifer was born at UAMS on August 27, 1986. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Ennis, TX. She loved life, was excited about being a teacher one day, and loved to crochet and make things for her friends and family. She loved her fur baby, Amy, a dachshund, as well. Jennifer married her soul mate, Dustin, on June 2, 2012, in Hot Springs, AR. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Josie McGarrah and Lottis Hancock and C.O. and Anna Burnell and a cousin, Tyler Burnell. Survivors include her husband, Dustin Konieczka of Hot Springs, AR; mother and stepfather, Thomas and Kim Hancock Aldrich of Hot Springs, AR; father, Danny Burnell of Tollesboro, KY; sisters, Tammy (Ricky) Rodriguez, Marcie Burnell, and Ashley (Codey) Slyter of Hot Springs, AR; stepsisters, Chelsea Aldrich of Austin, TX and Shannon (Ismael) Lopez of Mesquite, TX, and stepbrother, Tom Aldrich of Austin, TX; brother-in-law, Justin Konieczka of Houma, LA; niece, Isabelle Rodriguez of Hot Springs, AR; nephews, Angel Rodriguez and Leo Slyter of Hot Springs, AR and Ayden Lopez of Mesquite, TX; aunts, Debbie Hancock (Lee) Burgamy of Burleston, TX, and Margaret Burnell of Tollesboro, KY; uncle, Dennis (Kelly) Burnell of Tollesboro, KY; and special cousins, Laura Arvizu, Rachel Arvizu, Jonathon Burnell, Casey Reed, and Cody Reed of Tollesboro, KY, Megan and Brianna Day and James Burgamy of Burleson, TX, and Chandler Romine Williams of Sheridan, as well as many other friends and extended family members. Jennifer's life will be celebrated and remembered at Hot Springs Funeral Home, Central Avenue, Hot Springs, AR with visitation on Sunday, September 14, 2014 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and service on Monday, 09/15/2014 at 1 p.m. officiated by Bro. Mitch Chapman of Ennis, TX. Pallbearers will include Ricky Rodriguez, Codey Slyter, Jonathon Burnell, A.J. Brewer, Russell Hughes, and Joseph Campbell. Family will be at the home of Ricky and Tammy Rodriguez, 135 Murray Street, Hot Springs, AR.
