Doyle Cain

Doyle Cain, a cherished father, devoted grandfather, and passionate outdoorsman, passed away peacefully on December 7, 2024, at the age of 82. Born on February 9, 1942, Doyle spent his life immersed in the beauty of nature, sharing his love for the outdoors with family, friends, and countless others. Doyle's love for fishing began at a young age, and he quickly became known for his exceptional skills and deep knowledge of local waters. As a fishing guide, he dedicated over 30 years to helping others experience the joy and tranquility of fishing. His expertise and infectious sense of humor made him a beloved figure in the fishing community. Doyle proudly served in the United States Air Force and later retired from the U.S. Forest Service. He was happiest when he was on the water with a fishing rod in hand or in search of a white-tailed deer. Doyle lost the love of his life, Gloria, in 2013. He was predeceased by his parents. Carmen and Isabelle (Lynch) Cain. He is survived by his sisters, Shirley Warren and Pam Murray; his daughters, Donna Richardson and Paula Williams; his son-in-law, Paul Richardson; his grandchildren, Kelsey Richardson, Preston Richardson, Logan Richardson and his girlfriend Amiya Lewis, Chase Barron and his girlfriend Sydney Clark, Kathryn Williams and her boyfriend Keaton Goocher, and Cainon Williams; great-granddaughter Daphne Goocher and great-grandson Baby Barron, due April 2025; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends he played pool with and swapped stories with, too numerous to list. He will be remembered for his kind heart, adventurous spirit, and unwavering dedication to his family and friends. A celebration of Doyle's life will be held on December 17, 2024, at 1:00 PM at the Hot Springs Funeral Home, with a viewing on December 16, 2024, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, an organization close to Doyle's heart. Doyle's legacy will live on in the memories of those who knew him and in the countless stories of fishing trips and outdoor adventures he inspired.
