Diane Longinotti

Diane Elaine Longinotti, age 74, passed away on Nov. 15, 2011 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Hot Springs, AR. She was born in Monroe, LA on April 22, 1937 to Vivian and Raymond Roberts. Diane received her education from Tulane University and Rhodes University in Memphis majoring in music. She studied Opera under Marjorie Lawrence King for many years and was involved in many of her productions. She was involved in the Community Players for 15 years, along with her husband Ray Longinotti Jr. She also was a volunteer music teacher at St. Michael's School for many years. Diane was a certified case manager providing services to disabled children. She worked with local schools, physicians, courts and DHS. She worked with Ouachita Children's Center, Evergreen Presbyterian Ministries, Ouachita Job Corps Center, Levi Hospice Program, Hot Springs Nursing Home, Homecare Professionals of Arkansas, Community Service Organization and Dwight Babcock Enterprises and with Arkansas State Representative Bill Randell for many years as his personal assistant. She was a State board member of the Arkansas Public Policy Council, board member of the Community Environmental Group. She is survived by her brother, Raymond Randolf Roberts of Rogers, AR; dearest friend and cousin, Frances McGuffy of Horn Lake, MS; her sons Steven R. Longinotti of Hot Springs, AR, Trey and Star Longinotti of Bradenton, FL and Kevin Longinotti and Fran Galati of Bradenton, FL; her grandchildren, Lisa and Kaley Longinotti of Rockford, IL, Anglea and Jay Dee of Bradenton, FL, Julie and John of Bradenton, FL; her extended family Travis JR and Patty Bunn, Calen Bunn and God Children. Visitation will be Monday from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Hot Springs Funeral Home. Rosary will be recited at 9:30 A.M. Tuesday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday at 10:00 A.M. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Father Alan Rosenau as celebrant. Pallbearers will be Steve, Trey & Kevin Longinotti, Mike Longinotti , Calen Bunn and Jerry Longinotti. Honorary Pallbearers are Travis Bunn, Jr., Judge John Homer Wright, Judge David Switzer, Charlie Van Dyne, Q. Byrum Hurst, Mike and Janet Huckabee, Rusty Loyd. Todd McDonald, Rodney and David Myers, Steve Arman, Scott Vice, Matt Hayes, Marc Hayes, Brandt Castleberry, Earis B. Hopkins Jr. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Diane touched many lives through her unselfish generosity and loving spirit. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and godchildren along with time spent with the Sisters at St. Michaels.
