Bert J. Longnecker, 78, of Hot Springs passed away, Friday, January 27, 2012 at his home. He was born September 5, 1933 to the late John & Margurite Longnecker in Earlsboro, Oklahoma.

Mr. Longnecker was retired store manager with Montgomery Wards and was of Christian faith. He was predeceased by his parents and children, Michael & Nancy Beth Longnecker.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Dorothy “Dot” Longnecker; one daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Jay Erickson.

Visitation will be 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. on Monday at Hot Springs Funeral Home.

Honorary pallbearers are Hospice of Central Arkansas, Kay Tope, Beth Ellison, Dee Bobos and Angela Moses.
